According to the Lambda Chi chapter's website, "Brotherhood games is an event when all the chapters within one region comes together and competes to show which chapter has the strongest brotherhood. Brotherhood games exudes friendly competition and a national pride for the fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi."
This past weekend on Saturday, 10/24/15, our pledge class had the privilege of attending our very first Brotherhood games held at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. The weather was lovely, and the day overall was a welcome reprieve from the typical pledging hustle and bustle. We had the opportunity of meeting and bonding with pledge classes from other chapters in our region, and engaged in some friendly competition with some flag football, tug-of-war, and skits/dances.
Brotherhood is a main pillar of Delta Sigma Pi, and as a pledge class we aim to encompass brotherhood in who we are and what we do. It's an immeasurable feeling, knowing that we have a giant network of generously driven individuals to fall back on when life gets rough. This day was the start of the start of forging bonds outside the Theta Chi chapter that will be sure to last a lifetime.
