Meet President Mr. Deric Li:
My parents own a Chinese Herbal shop.
I'm allergic to fortune cookies and sesame seeds.
I can play guitar, drums, keyboard, ukulele.
I hope to... challenge myself to become more of a leader. I have never aimed for positions and was always helping people with major roles on the side. I want to be able to make an impact and give back to my team. I hope to have a new network of brothers that I can support and receive support from. To be comfortable with the uncomfortable is my goal. This includes getting rid of my fear of public speaking, being direct, and taking charge.
Meet Senior Vice President, Mr. Aakash Saparia:I love being outdoors - rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, etc.
I love traveling to new places to learn about new cultures.
I can't live without watching movies and playing video games.
Pledging for Delta Sigma Pi has... given me a unique opportunity for personal growth as well as grow as a team. This process has allowed me to meet individuals with immense potential and outstanding personalities. Apart from that, it will help me make life long connections, fine friends and amazing memories. I'm sure the skills I learn from this process will help me achieve my goal and ultimately succeed in life.
Meet VP of Professional Activities, Ms. Elizabeth Medina-Alvarez:
I am proud of being a left-handed Pisces.
I love making collages.
I love love my Terrier/Chihuahua mixed dog, Bolt.
I hope pledging... can shape me into a stronger individual who can clearly communicate to large groups of people. I would like to build up the confidence I have in myself through this pledging process. When, and if through this process, I can become a more confident, well spoken individual I would love to venture more into other officer roles that this organization has to offer me in the future.
Meet the VP of Community Service, Ms. Stephanie Nguyen:
I am a retired hairstylist.
I will only eat fruits that are cut for me unless they are apples or bananas.
I did not eat vegetables until the tender age of 21.
I hope to improve and gain more confidence in my communication skills from my experience pledging for Delta Sigma Pi. I hope to be able to better organize and articulate thoughts with poise. I hope Delta Sigma Pledge will also provide me with the proper resources to inspire, motivate, and grow.
Meet the VP of Finance, Mr. Nam Vu:
I've never gotten a bloody nose.
I go to Chipotle at least twice a week.
I have three chihuahuas.
By pledging, I hope to... develop the traits and skill-sets necessary to succeed in the professional workplace. I want to add to the already-diverse makeup of experiences and backgrounds of the fraternity and give back just as those who are doing so and have been doing so. I want to make life-long friendships and be exposed to a greater network of brothers all throughout the world
Meet the VP of Financial Development, Ms. Leanne Rios:My favorite food is shrimp but i'm also allergic to it.
I had a crush on Aladdin.
I had head gear growing up.
From this pledging process, I hope to... really come out of my comfort zone. I want to grow and go through these challenges with my pledge class, learning how to better work as a team while creating that bond with my class. I also hope to gain the skills that would better prepare me for my future internships/jobs.

I jumped into Lake Tahoe in February once on a dare.
I drove from Eugene, Oregon all the way to Santa Cruz, California in one day.
I'm looking to... raise my professional game to a whole new level. Not just in the work world, where the skills I'm learning will be invaluable, but also in my own personal life. The skills that you learn to accomplish here are with you for life, and if we can succeed as a pledge class to initiation, then all of Delta Sigma Pi's brothers will be as well. I look forward to learning everything I can about the fraternity so that, some day, I may give back to those that follow in my footsteps.

I hope to... gain the tools to be successful in the business world. I hope to fine tune the skills that I already have, and build and develop the skills that I need. I hope to build my network with trusted and professional individuals as brothers and as partners. I also hope rise to a position in life where I have the opportunity to give back to Delta Sigma Pi so that future prospects will benefit as I have.

I want fond memories, good friends, a solid foundation and network in order to help me achieve my goals and in turn be in a position to give back to an organization that has made it possible.
Meet Director of Communication, Mr. Vincent Dinh:I learned I was a nature freak when I became a Boy Scout about a decade ago.
I enjoy photography and cinematography because I like visual arts.
I enjoy sports because of the camaraderie.
I hope to... be able to further realize my strengths and weaknesses and improve upon them. I know that there will be plenty of opportunities to realize this and plenty of people to help me improve myself. I hope to become a part of another life-long brotherhood of people I can always look up to much like my Scouting family.
Meet Historian, Ms. Rosina Htoy:I am 7/8 Chinese and 1/8 Burmese.
I enjoy watching make up tutorials on YouTube.

I hope to... be able to maximize my productivity each day and learn how to utilize my time to its fullest ability. This process will dscipline me into learning how to better coordinate wth others to finish all of our projects as a team. Brotherhood is this organization's infrastructure so I hope to be able not to only learn it but experience it as well.

I am a big tree-hugger.
I can get hooked watching beauty or make-up related videos for hours on end.
What I hope to gain from pledging... is a lifetime of amazing relationships and bonds with people that I can call my brothers. I want to be able to not only help myself, but help other like-minded individuals gain their full potential. Being able to conduct myself professionally in front of an audience and learning to be a better person and leader are my main goals. I want to know what I am capable of so I can confidently take charge of my life.
